近幾年多在大陸發展的霍建華回台宣傳中視「金玉良緣」，原本想低調抵台，但仍有10多年前的粉絲來接機，讓他很感動，笑說：「今天本來想就算只有3個粉絲來，我也會好好宣傳。」這部戲是他首次當製作人並主演，除了演戲還要管雜物、關心其他演員情緒，因此把這部戲當成自己的「小孩」般呵護，甚至為戲鑽狗洞、穿女裝，粉絲會現場看到畫面讓他笑說有點不好意思。
