平板電腦競爭白熱化，業者無不絞盡腦汁盼以最新穎的應用設計，獲取科技迷青睞。

最新消息傳出，往往引領潮流的蘋果（(US-AAPL)），這回將腦袋動到了iPad 背面！美科技媒體《CNET》報導，美國專利商標局周二（5日）正式批准蘋果一項專利申請，內容關於在平板電腦背面以線性或網格的排列方式，設置感應器或控制器。

觀察家指出，此舉可望擴大平板相關應用，例如程式設計商可開發出更複雜、多樣的遊戲或工具，或觀賞影片時操作起來更順暢。

此外，專利內容也暗示，能夠讓虛擬鍵盤直接顯示於螢幕，因此用戶打字時就毋需再低頭觀看鍵盤。

取得上述專利對蘋果來說，或許正是及時雨，因 iPad 正面臨銷量倒退嚕的窘境。

蘋果上季財報顯示，iPad 銷售較去年同期縮水 9%，而且已是連續兩季下滑。
