邁阿密熱火近況低迷，場內、場外問題逐漸浮現，「小皇帝」LeBron James開金口，希望精神領袖「閃電俠」Dwyane Wade協助。

根據《太陽哨兵報》報導，熱火今年策略性地讓年紀漸長的Wade「養生」，James偶爾得面臨孤軍奮戰的窘境。

近6次沒有Wade陪伴的比賽，James平均攻下39分，該報導透露，他渴望更多幫助，這個求救訊號已經持續一整年了。

James理解，熱火確實需要Wade在季後賽健康出賽，但例行賽的戰績壓力似乎壓的他喘不過氣。

熱火至今完成69場比賽，Wade缺席19場，平均上場時間是生涯次低33.6分鐘，貢獻19.3分、4.6籃板、4.9助攻。

球團之所以對Wade保護到家，因為他在季後賽總能維持高檔表現，生涯季後賽平均23.7分，2010年組成「三星」後，平均每場也有21分。

James本季平均26.8分、6.9籃板、6.4助攻，依舊很夠水準，球隊戰績48勝21敗，東區排名高居第2，不過近8場比賽勝負各半。
