教練安排田中將扛四號先發

紐約洋基隊25日公布開幕3連戰的先發投手輪值，日籍投手田中將大並不在其中，預料洋基隊會在4月5日推他上場先發出戰藍鳥隊。

田中將大春訓熱身賽目前一共出賽4場，拿到1勝0敗的戰績，投了15局，被打12支安打，失5分，防禦率3.00。

其中田中只有第一場是中繼出賽，其他都是先發，熱身賽他還有最後一場先發的機會，29日將會出戰馬林魚隊。

由於田中還不是很適應主審的好球帶，目前他需要多點實戰經驗累積才能更有機會站穩先發輪值。

洋基與太空人隊3連戰將派出「沙胖」 C.C. Sabathia、黑田博樹、Ivan Nova接連出手。

洋基隊投手教練Larry Rothschild表示：「為了讓他整季都可以上場，一開始會讓他多休息。」

洋基隊從開幕就會連打13場比賽，若是以中4日的方式使用田中，他將會在開幕系列賽中連續投3場比賽，所以先讓田中擔任4號先發，或許是一時的權宜之計。

以目前看來田中將大開幕前2戰對手會是藍鳥與金鶯隊，要看田中遭遇世仇紅襪隊，球迷還要再等等。
