根據Helmholtz理論，

對一個物理系統F(向量場)來說，

如果可以知道其 (散度F)=f

以及 (旋度F)=G

則F可以f與G唯一決定。

再回頭看看Maxwell equation搭配此定理 得證

這在數學上是可以嚴謹證明的

我上面的符號大寫代表向量函數 小寫代表純量函數
