施至輝堅守粧佛 抱回工藝成就獎

由國立臺灣工藝研究發展中心舉辦的「2014年工藝成就獎」，昨（五）日於臺灣博物館小白宮舉辦頒獎典禮，獲獎者施至輝來自彰化縣鹿港鎮，文化部許秋煌次長代表出席頒予獎項。工藝成就獎旨在表彰終身奉獻於工藝志業的臺灣工藝家，至今已是第八屆。

施至輝自父親習得泉州式粧佛藝術，此為一門極為特殊的綜合工藝，以工序繁複、技法細膩著稱。涵蓋了木雕、漆藝及彩繪，木雕賦予神像造形，漆藝及彩繪則著重外貌之裝飾。以「木雕」造像實體後，接著進行「漆藝」與「彩繪」。漆藝部分，需經過塗灰地、纏漆線、髹漆、安金箔等繁瑣工序，待完成後，再進行最外層的彩繪，而在製作過程中，施至輝堅守著民間宗教信仰的開斧、入神及開光點眼等科儀，保留傳統文化內涵。他的粧佛藝術已非泉州原鄉所能迄及，極盡「重要傳統藝術－粧佛保存者」之責，是極為珍貴的民俗文化資產。
