邁阿密熱火「三星」可能因三連霸失利而分崩離析，一直沒有太多意見的球團總裁「油頭」Pat Riley似乎終於看不下去了。

Riley在2010年一手打造「三星」LeBron James、Dwyane Wade、Chris Bosh，這組豪華陣容也沒讓他失望，連續4年殺進總冠軍賽，帶走兩座總冠軍，如今卻因遭聖安東尼奧馬刺「痛宰」瀕臨解體。

Riley以1980年代的洛杉磯湖人、波士頓塞爾提克，1990年代的芝加哥公牛，1990年代晚期的馬刺、湖人為例。

「如果你擁有一個很棒的陣容，你必須留下來。」Riley說。

「你們必須凝聚在一起，把膽識找回來。」Riley說：「你不能找到逃生門就落跑。」

熱火「小皇帝」James今夏選擇跳脫合約、成為自由球員的傳聞甚囂塵上，Riley認為他的決定將會影響球隊布局。

「我們需要重振旗鼓，但我們不需要重建。」Riley說。
