前天才靠著再見安打擊敗洋基，15日金鶯如法炮製，這次由Kelly Johnson來當英雄，終場以3比2演出逆轉勝，美聯東區封王魔術數字縮減到3。

今天(15日)兩隊先發投手都表現不錯，Chris Tillman投6.2局被敲5安失1分，黑田博樹7局也僅失1分，2人皆無關勝敗。

9局上洋基Brian McCann敲出超前比數的陽春砲；9局下面對David Robertson金鶯還以顏色，Nelson Cruz、Steve Pearce連續2支二壘安打先追平，Johnson最後補上再見安打，金鶯完成逆轉勝。

與洋基系列賽拿下3勝1敗，金鶯一步步走向美聯東區王座，分區封王魔術數字只剩下3。

今年透過交易來到金鶯的Johnson說：「感覺這就是第1名的球隊，大家找到贏球方式，這真的很酷。我才剛到這裡不久，但我見識到了很多從未經歷的事。」

「我們知道9局下是可以翻轉的，大家並沒有放棄。揮棒攻擊一直是球隊強項，今晚我們再次成功反擊。」Pearce表示。
