經濟部中央地質調查所推出「台灣岩礦資料暨寶石雲服務平台建置及先導應用計畫」，規劃藉由掃描QR Code操作模式，快速查詢台灣岩礦資料結合國產或市售市場寶玉石資料，澎湖文石先試辦。

經濟部中央地質調查所表示，澎湖文石業者9月初率先加入台灣寶石雲計畫，運用服務平台進行應用系統開發，並已登錄澎湖文石產品履歷資料，提供給來到澎湖旅遊的民眾，透過掃描QR Code方式，獲得公開透明履歷資訊，提高民眾購買收藏意願。
