赴美免簽證南韓再獲延2年

（中央社記者姜遠珍首爾2013年5月9日專電）南韓外交部表示，美國政府今天通報指出，南韓公民赴美「免簽證計畫」可延長至2015年3月。因此南韓公民在未來兩年內赴美旅行，無需事先申請簽證。

南韓「聯合新聞通訊社」報導，美國免簽證計畫（VWP）允許特定國家的公民前往美國觀光旅遊或商務旅行時，可最多停留90天而無需事先辦理簽證。

美國政府每隔兩年對參與這個計畫的國家重行評估，然後決定是否予以延期。評估標準包括：國家安全狀況、出入境管理以及拒簽率等。

南韓於2008年11月首次加入計畫，2011年5月獲准延長兩年。

美國評估團曾於2012年9月訪韓，針對南韓的反恐應對措施、出入境管理和護照管理等綜合評估，結果決定再延長兩年。
